Refund Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how Shunyatax Global Education Foundation handles refunds for donations, program fees, and event registrations made through this website. By making a payment to us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Donations

  • Donations made to the Foundation are voluntary contributions and are, as a general rule, non-refundable, since funds are often allocated to programs shortly after receipt.
  • If you believe a donation was made in error — such as an incorrect amount, a duplicate transaction, or an unauthorized charge — please contact us within 7 days of the transaction so we can review and, where appropriate, process a refund.
  • Recurring donations may be cancelled at any time for future payments; however, amounts already processed are not refunded except in cases of genuine error.

3. Program & Event Fees

  • Where a program, workshop, or event requires a paid registration fee, cancellation requests made at least 7 days before the scheduled start date are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may be eligible for a partial refund or credit toward a future program, at the Foundation's discretion.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made after a program or event has commenced.
  • If the Foundation cancels or reschedules a program or event, registered participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at info@shunyataxglobal.org with your name, the transaction date, the payment reference or receipt number, and the reason for your request. We will review each request individually and respond within 3–5 business days.

5. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed back to the original mode of payment. Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take 7–14 business days to reflect in your account after approval. The Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment gateways.

6. Non-Refundable Items

Funds that have already been disbursed toward an active program, scholarship, or community initiative, as well as donations made in response to a specific emergency appeal that has already been fulfilled, are generally not eligible for refund.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
