Kid 1

Age 3

Dream: To wear a school uniform and carry a bright blue school bag.

Kid 1 was born into a family where both parents work as daily wage labourers. Some days they earn enough to buy food, while on other days they return home empty-handed. Education feels like a distant dream because every rupee goes toward survival. Yet every morning, Kid 1 watches older children walk to school and waves at them, hoping that one day someone will hold their hand and take them along.

Kid 2

Age 5

Dream: To become a doctor.

Kid 2's mother works as a housemaid and their father struggles to find regular work. Frequent illness in the family means money is often spent on medicines instead of books. Seeing loved ones suffer without proper healthcare inspires Kid 2 to dream of becoming a doctor who treats children regardless of their family's income.

Kid 3

Age 6

Dream: To become a police officer.

Kid 3's father migrated to another city for work but rarely earns enough to send money home. Kid 3 often helps with household chores instead of attending school regularly. Despite these hardships, they dream of wearing a police uniform and protecting children so they never have to feel helpless.

Kid 4

Age 5

Dream: To become a teacher.

Books are considered a luxury in Kid 4's home. Their parents never had the chance to attend school, making it difficult to support their education. Kid 4 believes that if they become a teacher, they can help children from villages like theirs receive the education their parents never had.

Kid 5

Age 9

Dream: To become a nurse.

As the eldest sibling, Kid 5 spends most of the day caring for younger brothers and sisters while their parents work. School attendance is irregular because family responsibilities come first. Even so, Kid 5 dreams of becoming a nurse who comforts people during their hardest moments.

Kid 6

Age 8

Dream: To become an engineer.

Kid 6 enjoys fixing broken household items with simple tools. Financial struggles make it impossible to buy toys or learning materials, but curiosity never fades. They dream of becoming an engineer who creates affordable machines that improve life in rural communities.

Kid 7

Age 10

Dream: To become an IAS Officer.

Kid 7 often misses school because they help care for younger siblings while their parents work long hours. They have seen many families struggle to access government services and believe that one day, as a civil servant, they can bring real change to villages like their own.

Kid 8

Age 8

Dream: To become a pilot.

Whenever an airplane flies overhead, Kid 8 stops everything to watch it disappear into the clouds. Their family has never traveled outside the district, but Kid 8 dreams of flying across the world and proving that where you are born does not define where you can go.

Kid 9

Age 9

Dream: To become a lawyer.

Kid 9 has watched neighbours struggle because they don't understand their rights or legal documents. Although their family cannot afford quality education, they dream of becoming a lawyer who helps people receive justice regardless of their financial situation.

Kid 10

Age 9

Dream: To become a singer.

Music is Kid 10's escape from hardship. While helping with household work, they sing songs that bring smiles to everyone around them. They dream of using their voice to inspire children to believe in hope, no matter their circumstances.
